You are allowed to sell the finished branches made from this pattern, but it is prohibited to share or sell the pattern, in parts or as a whole.
This pattern includes the following languages:
- English (US terms)
- Danish
SIZE
The finished eucalyptus branch measures approx. 40-45 cm (16-18 inches) in length, but the length can easily be adjusted to your preference. The leaves measure approx. 1.5-2.5 cm (0.6-1 inch) in diameter.
YARN
The branch is made using 8/4 cotton yarn. You can use any brand you like, but this pattern was made using Hjertegarn Cotton No. 8.
For one branch you will need approximately:
- Light green: approx. 8 g
Note: You can use any cotton yarn with a similar weight. Using different yarn or hook sizes will change both the finished size and yarn consumption.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED
- 1 thick floral wire, 30 cm (11.8 inches), 2 mm thick
- 1 thin floral wire, 30 cm (11.8 inches), 0.6 mm thick
- Hot glue gun
CROCHET HOOK
2.0 mm (US B-1)
If you normally use a different hook size with your chosen yarn, you can do so. Please note that the finished size and yarn usage may vary. Check your gauge if needed.
CROCHET GAUGE
10 cm (4 inches) = 24 single crochet stitches
If you have fewer than 24 stitches over 10 cm, use a smaller hook.
If you have more than 24 stitches over 10 cm, use a larger hook.
STITCHES
The following stitches are used in this pattern.
(A complete list of stitches and abbreviations is also included in the pattern.)
- Single crochet
- Slip stitch
- Chain
- Half double crochet
- Double crochet
- Magic loop
This pattern is very detailed and besides detailed instructions for each leaf, it also includes a step-by-step photo assembly guide showing exactly how to assemble the eucalyptus branch, attach each leaf, wrap the stem, and create a realistic, beautiful finished branch.
