Eucalyptus trees are iconically Australian; an image and scent that immediately conjures up home for many Australians. This wee tree can be pinned as a brooch to your shirt, shawl or even hat to remind you of home.

Construction:
This tree uses simple knitting techniques; garter stitch, basic increasing and decreasing and i-cord. Only a small amount of stitching is required to complete the assemblage.

Easy

This pattern was originally released as part of WARM: a large-scale collaborative knitting project that explored why the earth is warming and what we can do to make a positive change.

Knitters of all skill levels contributed to this large-scale piece that was exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ballarat in September 2016. It now has a permanent home in the Geelong Wool Museum.
