This is a very simple dress knitted all in one piece from the top down on straight needles. It has a garter stitch yoke and lace skirt.

It is designed to fit an 14” Little Kidz Gotz doll. It could be shortened and made into a tunic too.

The gauge/tension is difficult to figure on this project and is only a suggestion. A doll dress makes a good swatch. I suggest having the doll handy to check size and make adjustments up or down a needle size as needed.

Yardage can vary, but it should only take 27g using the suggested yarn. The length should be about 16 cms. I think I did 13 repeats of the lace.

The lace pattern is an easy one to remember and is 4 lines long. Two of them though are just straight Purl rows. I think you will soon remember the pattern and also be able to see clearly if you go wrong. Just keep an eye on the yarn overs, otherwise you will be short of stitches.
