A bottom-up hat worked in the round, inspired by the PBS series: Sherlock.

“There’s an east wind coming… It will be cold and bitter, Watson, and a good many of us will wither before its blast…but a cleaner, better, stronger land will lie in the sunshine when the storm has cleared.”
– from Arthur Conan Doyle’s “His Last Bow”

Eurus - the East Wind - sweeps across this hat in the center section, but is kept in check by the West Wind in the lower section (Mycroft) and in the upper section (Sherlock). A mesmerizing spiral in the crown promises to keep you focused until these opposing winds meet at the very center top!
