I was blessed to have my Great Grandma in my life until I was in my thirties. She had 2 heart attacks when she was in her 70’s. The doctor told her she should walk every day and walk she did. I can see her wrapping this cowl around her neck when she was out in the cold Nevada winter days. She lived to be 97 years old.

This cowl is knit using two different lace patterns separated by stockinette stitch. Each panel is knit twice. You can add your own slant to your project. You can make the panels longer or shorter depending on what you want to do. You can also change the number of times each panel is done. Use whatever weight of yarn you want. Have fun with it!!

I want to thank my testers: Bmazanec, MrsKatherinemott, and Helenapower. You made my first test a great pleasure!
