Even Heel Socks are just the perfect sock to always have on your needles! They start with a 1x1 rib and move into stockinette and then into my Even Heel pattern. Next a stockinette foot and a classic wedge toe. This is my take on a vanilla sock pattern. that way the yarn can do the talking and you do the knitting! Easy to pick up and put down or sit and knit while watch your fave tv show or listening to an audio book.

It works with every fingering weight sock yarn you can imagine. Striped, variegated, speckled, tonal and solids. The name comes from the heel I have designed for this sock. It has been written so there is minimal disruption in stripes and the pattern is written step by step and even having you measure your foot and knitting a different points so you get the perfect fit! And if you print the PDF or like me take screenshots and use my iPad there is a place to write your measurements in so when you knit the next sock you will know the measurements.
