Evening Grace is a one-skein shawl, beginning with a subtly beaded lace edging which flows into a short-row stockinette body, and is finished off with a garter edge. Twilight is sometimes referred to as Evening Grace, and this colorway reminded me of just before sunset.

Finished Size: 20” depth, 70” wingspan

Yarn: Avalon Springs Farm Pendragon, 100% Superwash Merino, 555 yards/4 oz. Sample knit in Gadel The Speaker. Sample used approximately 540 yards.

Needles: 32” circular needle, size 5 US (3.75mm), or size to obtain gauge. Every knitter is different.

Gauge: 22 stitches/32 rows per inch in wet-blocked stockinette stitch; gauge is not critical for this item but will affect yardage and drape.

You will need 243 6/0 seed beads if you work this shawl as written. You will also need a beading tool or small crochet hook which will fit in the center of the beads to place them as you knit.
