This scarf is knit up using the faggot stitch, an easy one row lace repeat that makes this a great reversible scarf. You could save a little bit of yarn to add fringe if you like or add fringe in a contrasting yarn.

This pattern gives you a scarf that is about 60 inches long by 8 inches wide. You can use either straight or circular needles depending on your preference but the scarf if worked flat.
