You will need two skeins of your background and two additional skeins, which can be mohair or assigned pooling for added texture.

The original sample of this shawl was created using my first three yarn lines acquired for our shop: Beehive Yarns UK, Gnome Depot, and Hedgehog Fibres. I’m so grateful for all the artisanal dyers who chose to showcase their beautiful work in our shop!

This shawl begins with a textured triangle of increases that support a stack of soft and squishy chevrons, separated by delicate eyelet rows. At the center is a little coloring book space for any embroidery you might want to add. We did! Come into the shop for a tutorial!

This shawl is long enough to wrap around you on a chilly evening, but if you bought two skeins of your MC, you’ll have enough to add a couple of eyelet rows above the triangles and on the edges of the short row section, if you like.

I hope you enjoy making this as much as we have!
