Everett the Backpacking Bear is crocheted continuously in the round from the top down unless specified otherwise. His pattern makes a finished bear about 8.25” tall and 3” wide when using the recommended yarn and hook size.

o Crochet hook: C/2.75mm
o Worsted weight yarn in six colors: I used WeCrochet Comfy Worsted in Thicket (100 yds), Ivory (43 yds), Peapod (25 yds), Honeydew (34 yds), Parchment (15 yds), and Honey (8 yds).
o Black and white embroidery floss to embroider the mouth and eye details
o Tapestry needle to weave in ends and embroider
o Polyfill stuffing
o 8mm safety eyes
o Stitch markers to mark the beginning/end of each round if desired

Gauge:
Use a small enough hook so you don’t see stuffing through your stitches.
