GAUGE

When choosing a yarn and needle size, you’re going to want a dense fabric. That’s important for durability and keeping all the stuffing in. So when in doubt, go down a needle size.

These are suggestions for each yarn base:

Everyday Sock - US Size 0 - 2 (2.0mm - 2.75mm)

Loriginal - US Size 1 - 3 (2.5mm - 3.25mm)

Plush Sock - US Size 1 - 3 (2.5mm - 3.25mm)

Guernsey Sport - US Size 3 (3.25mm)

Simple DK - US Size 4 (3.5mm)

Simple Worsted - US Size 5 (3.75mm)

Lo Biggity - US Size 11 (8.0mm)

FINISHED SIZE

Everett, the sample I knit (photo #1), was knit with Guernsey Sport in the “Brother” colorway on US Size 3 (3.25mm) needles.

The sample on photo #2 was knit on Lo Biggity in the “Cheers” colorway on US Size 11 (8.0mm) needles.

Finished size will vary depending on the weight of yarn you use, and the needle size you choose. This is just to give you a reference. Measurement is from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet.

Everyday Sock - 9.5”

Loriginal/Plush Sock - 10”

Guernsey Sport - 12”

Simple DK - 15”

Simple Worsted - 16”

Lo Biggity - 27”
