This month’s hat is inspired by Everglades National Park in Florida. Everglades is a stocking style cap in a broken rib stitch that blends colors to create a sunset effect. I was inspired by the beautiful images i found online of sunsets in Everglades National Park and thus created this bright and fun blended color hat. Everglades is on my bucket list to visit (all the parks are) and I do hear that the sunsets are spectacular! Everglades uses 5 colors of mini skeins (about 80 yards of each), and I’ve created a special set of colors just for this design. This is a simple and straightforward knit, with a twist of color blending to keep it interesting. I hope you enjoy this little visit to the Everglades!
