This easy crochet blanket pattern makes a warm, beautifully textured Christmas throw in soft sage, forest green, and cream. The Evergreen Blanket works up in a simple striped repeat that’s easy to memorize, so it’s a relaxing make — and festive without being so obviously holiday that you have to put it away in January.

Written in 9 sizes, from baby to king, it’s a lovely handmade gift for a new baby, a cozy lap blanket for chilly evenings, or a full bed throw for your own home. A printable gift tag is included too, so it’s ready to give as soon as you weave in the last end.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN
The sample is worked in sage, forest green, and cream for a soft, neutral Christmas look, but the pattern works beautifully in any three colors. Try classic red and white for something more traditional, blue and silver for a wintry feel, or soft neutrals you’ll want to keep out all year.
