This is an original design, and the pattern is written using American abbreviations. The pattern is for Advanced Beginners who are familiar with front and back post stitches and foundation stitches.
You will receive written instructions on how to make both the more fitted and the slouchy versions of the hat (both are pictured).

The pattern is written to fit an adult female and uses approximately 180-200 yards of worsted weight (4) yarn. I used Lion Brand Heartland yarn, but any will work. It is easily adjusted to fit any size desired.
