The Èveryday Blossom Scarf & Cowl is worked flat in simple knit and purl blocks with a slipped stitch on both edge for a clean finish. Each block section is worked in a single color, changing shades as you go to create a playful sequence of texture. The design is easy to customize. Just keep adding colors for a longer, more dramatic piece.

The scarf can be made in two weights: fingering or sport/DK, worked flat and worn as a scarf, while the worsted weight version is designed as a cozy cowl that’s seamed using a provisional cast-on and finished with Kitchener stitch grafting.

The pattern is ideal for all Yarns, mini skeins or leftovers, and was designed with Handspun Yarns in mind. Bonus tassel instructions are included for the scarf version. (extra 5g is needed)
