It can be surprisingly hard to find that perfect, warm sweater you want to reach for every single day—the one you can throw on over jeans or a dress first thing in the morning, and instantly feel comfortable and put-together in. That’s why I designed this sweater: with its straight, slightly cropped fit and slim sleeves, it’s simple, easy to wear, and made to be a staple you can live in all winter long.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL
Yarn: Alpakka Ull from Sandnes Garn
Yarn amount: 450 (450) 500 (600) 600 g
Gauge:19 sts seed stitch on 5 mm needles = 10 cm
Needles: Circular needles and double-pointed needles 4.5 mm and 5 mm
Measurements:
Chest width: 42 (44) 52 (54) 58 cm
Length from hem to shoulder: 52 (53) 53 (54) 55 cm

Tip! You can also use other yarns than the one listed here. Make sure the yarn has approximately the same gauge as the yarn in the pattern so the sweater doesn’t end up too big or too small.

The sweater is worked bottom-up. Start with the body, knit the sleeves separately, and then join everything on the same needle for the yoke.
