This super soft and cozy interlocking filet crochet afghan is made with strips of continuous snowflake motifs separated by a puff stitch transition section. The completed strips are then joined together with a similar puff stitch transition. A final puff stitch border is added around the entire afghan.

This afghan is one of eight patterns included in the Everything Snowflakes Set. The remaining seven patterns are: hot pad, mug rug, placemat, cowl, scarf, ornament/gift pouch and pendant necklace.

This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as a design chart for reference.

Since this pattern contains many diagonals to create the design, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique.

If you haven’t tried diagonals on an interlocking filet mesh project yet, you can learn how on my YouTube Channel and follow along with my FREE Interlocking Snowflake Coaster pattern! You can also read about it on my blog!

Solid stitches and long diagonals are also used on this interlocking crochet project. You can also learn more about these stitches on my YouTube Channel and follow along with my FREE Blackwork-Style Squares pattern!
