The yarns suggested are truly just suggested. This is a great project for digging into your stash.

For the eye: I used Malabrigio Worsted for the iris because of its variegation in color, and stash black and white yarn for the rest. This is a great way to use up your stash!

This pattern is a modified version of the Evil Eye Glove by Kat Coyle and promoted by Krista Suh in honor of those killed in the Parkland, Florida school shooting. These gloves are being made for the March for Our Lives in Washington D.C. on March 24, 2018, as well as for other protests and marches against gun violence.
