Evil Eye ‘Modern’ Granny Square with beads
I had this urge to crochet ‘Evil’ eyes after I bought a large glass one for a family member. The ‘Evil eye’ is used generally to ward off jealousy and ‘evil’ intentions from outside forces. I love the way they look. It too many attempts before I finally got this eye looking the way I wanted. I hope you enjoy making these as much as I enjoyed creating them.
Materials Needed
Crochet hook 3.5mm (but you can use any size depending on how large or small you want your square to be).
I used ‘4 Seasons’ Pure Wool, 8ply, 50g, 80m.
Skeins: - Colour A –Shitake, Colour B – Turquoise,
Colour C – Cream,
Colour D – Mint.
Scissors, tapestry needle, 8 x 8mm beads
Measurement of square when completed and blocked is 21cm x 21cm.
