A favorite on the job site, Excavator is ready to get the job done with its oversized working bucket arm, pivoting base, and chunky tracks. This pattern even includes an optional auger attachment to help drill those deep holes needed for putting up extra tall skyscrapers!

Materials:
Bulky Yarn in yellow (300 yds), light grey (300 yds), dark grey (150 yds), black (100 yds), white (150 yds)
Hook size I (5.5 mm)
Scissors
Polyester Fiberfill
1” thick Cushion Foam
Foam Stabilizer

Errata:
Cab - side wall 2 (rejoin black from skein, not ‘red’)
Row 4: Ch 1, sc 1, cut black leaving a 60” tail, change to white, sc 11, rejoin black from skein, sc 1 and turn. (13 sts)

Boom - removed an extra sc 1 from rnd 2 & rnd 7 to correct stitch count:

Rnd 2: Dc 2 in next st, dc 6, hdc 11, sc 1, sc 3 in next st, sc 11, sc 2 in next 4 sts, sc 9, sc2tog, hdc 9, dc 6, dc 2 in next 2 sts. (71 sts)

Rnd 7: Dc2tog, dc 6, hdc 11, sc 1, sc3tog, sc 11, sc2tog 4 times, sc 9, sc 2 in next st, hdc 9, dc 6, dc2tog 2 times. (63 sts)

Excavator Tracks - Repeat rows 2-7 9 more times until you have 20 ridges.
