This hat starts out with a 1x1 rib that expands to a 3x1 and then to a 7x1. This allows the hat to have the most stretch at the widest part of the fit making it a great option for a variety of sizes.

The pattern is written for 6 sizes: Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen, Women, Men and will utilize between 40-130 yards (approximate and will depend on your gauge) of chunky/aran weight yarn.

The pattern includes written instructions in addition to a chart that combines all of the sizes for quick reference.

This pattern works up quickly and is a great option for a last minute gifting item! During testing, most completed in 3-6 hours depending on the size.

If you wish to make finished objects from this pattern for resale, please credit the pattern.

Special thanks to my testers as well as my Sister-in-law’s lovely family for modelling my hats! The only request for modelling was that I leave the hats with them! <3
