Drawn from the Trip Around the World quilt pattern, this poncho features mitered squares of Tunisian simple stitch worked in both variegated and solid yarns. Each square 
is worked from previous squares, moving toward the center to minimize seaming.

Yarn Berroco Ultra Alpaca Fine: #12172 cobalt mix (A), #1275 pea soup mix (B), #12178 grape-fruit mix (C), #12180 grove mix (D), #1292 tiger’s eye mix (E), 1 hank each.

Berroco Sox: #1404 Padarn (MC), 3 balls.

Hook Size I/9 (5.5 mm) Tunisian hook, I/9 (5.5 mm) 32” Tunisian cable hook, 7 (4.5 mm) standard hook. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain gauge.


Notions Yarn needle; stitch markers.

Gauge 19 tss and 20 rows = 4”. Mitered square = 2½” square.
