This stitch pattern was introduced to me by way of a project I knitted for my day job. I had so much fun with it, and it worked up so quickly that, once finished, I began to wonder how the stitch pattern might look in other yarns. I found two yummy skeins that were just begging to be knit together and began extrapolating the stitch pattern I had just fallen in love with. This cowl, or infinity scarf if you like, is what emerged!

The gauge doesn’t have to be exact, but make sure your gauge is neither too tight (the stitches won’t pop properly), nor too loose (the stitches get sloppy looking). The knitted fabric should be soft and a bit stretchy so that the cowl may be worn doubled around the neck, if desired. Be warned - you may not be able to make just one…

A million thanks to KH for sending me down this particular rabbit hole!!
