Inspired by the gigantic scarves seen consuming their wearers on the streets of Paris, often doubled upon themselves with the ends looped through, this cabled scarf matches the scale and warmth of its French brethren but without the bulk and length, resulting in a snug, cozy, dramatic piece knit with half the length.

The scarf resembles a needle with the JMCO edge worked into a loop upon itself to form the eye. A large reversible central cable continues the theme, creating more “eyes” where the fabric crosses over itself. Treat your neck to a luxury fiber in the weight of your choice. Pattern is written in two variations: longer with additional cable panels in Aran-weight yarn and a shorter, simpler version in bulky-weight yarn.
