EYE SPY MERMAID TAILS

Eye Spy Mermaid Tails contains knitting instructions for slouch and beanie hats comprising spiral and eyelet lace panels over a snug, twisted rib brim. The slouch is a full and comfy hat, whereas the beanie is closer fitting. These hats are great for when the weather is turning cooler and you need something to take the chill off your head (and feels luxurious when knitted in Sweet Fibre Cashmerino Worsted yarn); however, they are not meant to ward off the full sub-zero blasts of winter.

The hat is whimsically named after the words “Eye”-let and “Spi”-ral, as well as noting the lazy fishtail-like fans of lace seen “swimming” up the length of the hat.

One size
