Bit of fun for Halloween or for discussion in the classroom - these eyes have the optic nerve at the back, some blood vessels (embroidered on) and you can make the iris any colour you like. I use cotton yarn for stability, but you could use scraps of anything as long as the weights are the same throughout. Just dc (US-sc) with increases and decreases. Free, try it.
