Name as shown on the pattern is “Eyelet V-Shawl”
The Eyelet Shawl is knitted from the center top to bottom edge. Feza Jewel make it festive with a touch of sparkle. 2 balls of Jewel will make this shawl. It was designed with Worsted Weight Yarn. If warmth is what your after, Plymouth Encore work well too and many other yarns will also do the job. The shawl starts with 3 stitches knitted back and forth to make a small square. You add onto the square working you way back and forth. The center eyelets help make the increases across every other row. The horizontal eyelet are added for an open weave look followed by several rows of Stockinette Stitch. It’s an easy knit with only 4 types of stitches, Knit, Purl and Yarn Over with Knit 2 stitches together.
It works up best on a circular needle size 9, the shawl grows in length due to the increases. Add more yarn and make it larger to fit around the shoulder and wrap it across the front.
