DESCRIPTION
Eylis is a feminine camisole with an empire waist, designed to be worn as a delicate peplum top or as a flowing dress.

The front pieces are worked separately from the top down, then joined when the back is cast on. Eylis features thoughtful bust shaping and a delicate lace crochet edge. Elastic bands are incorporated at the back and under the bust, threaded through channels seamlessly knit in double stockinette for a neat, polished finish.

The bodice flows seamlessly into the skirt, which can be shaped to your preferred silhouette by adjusting the placement of increases. Both the skirt’s circumference and length can be easily customized, and a linked Google Sheet calculator provides row-by-row instructions based on your measurements, making it easy to achieve the perfect fit.

YARN
Designed for wool blend sock yarn that is approximately 100g/400m. Do note that the composition of yarn fibers will affect how the top/dress drapes on your body as well as the weight of the piece. As such, it is recommended to choose yarn that contains lighter fibers—such as wool blends, silk, or acrylic for best results.

SAMPLES

The yellow top sample was knit with 108g / 412m / 450yds of sock yarn (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon) in size 2 for the bodice. The back was CO with 96 sts and the final skirt circumference is 110cm. The skirt length is 16cm, measured from the underbust.

The dark grey dress sample was knit with 230g / 920m / 1006yds of sock yarn (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon) in size 2 for the bodice. The back was CO with 96 sts and the final skirt circumference is 120cm. The skirt length is 53cm, measured from the underbust.
