The Ezekiel jacket was designed to be flattering to a wide variety of body types, with an emphasis on plus sized and tall bodies, which are sometimes more challenging to knit for. It has a streamlined fit. Slightly sloped shoulders and slim fit sleeves make Ezekiel an easy layering piece. It is knitted using textures and fabric characteristics chosen specifically for giving a uniform shape and trim silhouette to the body of the wearer. It is intended to be a stylish and practical garment to be cherished and well used by all. I like to picture this jacket as an essential item for trips to a forest cabin, beach bonfires or any outdoor film screenings or cafes you may encounter while being an awesome human in the world.

This unisex, open front swing style jacket is ideal for cool weather wear. It has a regular to slightly oversized fit featuring a wide split hem, cable textured saddle shoulders and tailored set-in sleeves with cable detail travelling to the fingerless glove style cuff. The jacket has a ribbed cable collar which is knitted as part of the front pieces and seamed at the back of the neck. Ezekiel is knit in pieces and seamed.

The few challenging sections of this pattern are balanced by easy to work stockinette stitch. This is an intermediate level pattern, skills required include: seaming and placing set-in sleeves, knitting icord edges, grafting and proficiency with simple cables. Cabling without a cable needle is recommended.
