Ezra Socks
by Amanda Morse
The Ezra Socks are a top-down heel flap design with a simple 2x2 rib that shifts into a small cable and flows right back into rib again. They’re rhythmic, stretchy, and easy to memorize—perfect for everyday wear.
You can knit them in ankle length or crew length, and both versions keep the cable detail front and center without making the pattern complicated.
Great stitch definition, smooth transitions, and a classic fit make these a satisfying project for any sock knitter. Pattern is written for DPNs but works with magic loop too.
Fun to knit, easy to wear, and free on my blog.
