A pair of mitts for all who dislike fascism. It really is that simple!

Construction: These mitts are worked in the round from the cuff up, beginning with a twisted rib cuff. The hand is split into a 29 stitch front section worked from a chart and a 27 stitch palm section worked in stockinette. The lettering on each mitt is worked using the intarsia method, carrying the main color along the back of the work.

A thumb gusset is worked on the palm side, worked concurrently with the hand charts.

A note on gauge: I knit very tightly, and almost always need to size up. If you are a loose knitter, please keep in mind that you may need to go down 1-2 needle sizes to meet gauge.

A note on yarn: This pattern calls for less than one skein per color.
