The Faceted Hat & Cowl feature four colours of cables woven together, forming an argyle-like motif. It comes in 3 sizes and the height is adjustable.

You will simultaneously create a garter stitch layer and a layer of interwoven cables. The project is worked entirely with a marl, 2 yarns held together, creating a squishy yet drapey fabric.

The motif magically emerges as you repeat the small cable pattern. The colourwork design is established in the setup rounds and is worked without bobbins or floats.

If you are making both the Hat & Cowl, knit the Cowl first.

The technique used is Four-Colour Two-Pass Woven Knitting. The Faceted Tutorials walk you through each round of the woven motif.
