Fade it! Socks are worked from the toe up, using the magic loop method. The design is for a fade of 5 colors, and the fading happens by striping in garter stitch. The pattern comes in four sizes. In this pattern, also the foot length is specified in order to get an even fade. If you need to modify the foot length, work the fade according to the correct size for the foot length. For example, if you normally wear a 72 st sock but your foot length is 26 cm/ 10¼“, use the stitch count of size L and the fade length and foot length of size M.

Finished foot circumference (unstretched): 15 (17.5, 20, 22.5) cm / 6 (7, 8, 9)” - to be worn with 2.5 cm / 1” negative ease.
Finished foot length (unstretched): 21 (23.5, 26, 28.5) cm / 8¼ (9¼, 10¼, 11¼)”
