Faded Granny Square Advent Scarf Pattern

You will need a yarn advent, in DK weight yarn, that has 24 mini skeins with an additional full sized 100g skein to make this pattern.
OR
A total of (1406yds/580g) in DK weight yarn with a 4.5mm (size 7 hook).
If you have a sock/fingering weight yarn subscription, you can hold the yarn double stranded to achieve a DK thickness.

I’ve made two of these scarves from previous years advents: The pink/purple coloured one is from the 2024 Botanical Advent by Hue Loco Yarn and the blue/green photos are from the 2023 Oxide Advent by Hue Loco.

This pattern is worked up using the Solid Lined Granny Square (video tutorial included).
The final scarf size was: Approximately 17”x 71” inches.
