This pattern is easy to memorize if you are so inclined. We start with the darkest of 6 gradient tones. Each stripe is separated by a garter ridge of the main color. One stitch of the main color is slipped in front of the color stripe every sixth stitch to make the honeycomb appearance.  This is all written out in detail. A fun knit and so nice to wear.
