I always loved the idea of little faeries dancing in the forest and over ponds, so I was inspired to create delicate and whimsical socks worthy of such magical beings. I hope these pretty socks make you feel like dancing too and bring a little magic into your life!

This pattern is designed in a top/cuff down construction.

Yarn and notions:

Yarn: 100g total fingering weight (400-450 yards / 365-410 metres)
Sample in Fine Merino Shimmer (70% Merino, 25% Nylon, 5% Stellina) by Ravelution Yarn
Colourways: 50-75g MC (Optimism) and 20-30g CC (Mothers’ Day)

Needles:
2.25 mm needles with a long cable for magic loop (consider going up to 2.5 mm needles for the cuff with lace detail if you tend to knit a bit tightly or just to have a little more room to pass over your heel)

Other notions: cable needle, stitch markers, scissors, darning needle

Gauge: 8 sts = 1 inch / 2.5cm in stockinette (with 2.25 mm needles)

Sizes: (choose a size that is slightly smaller than your foot circumference for a snug fit)
Small, 60 sts, finished circumference 7 inches
Medium, 68 sts, finished circumference 8 inches
Large, 76 sts, finished circumference 9 inches

This pattern includes both written and charted instructions, with helpful video tutorials.

Note:

The instructions are written for 2 colours. You may of course decide to knit these socks in only one colour. Simply follow the instructions while omitting the colour changes.
