A close fitting, fun hat pattern that is easy to knit. A simple combination of knitting, purling, yarn overs and knitting stitches together create a wave at the hem. Continue with simple knitting and purling to complete the look. A feminine, fun look that is easy to achieve. Matching fingerless gloves available.

The Plucky Knitter’s Snug Worsted 70% merino, 20% cashmere, 10% alpaca) 230 yards S/M, M/L 1 skein either size

Needles - # 5 Circular and Double Point Needles Please remember that after knitting up your swatch, your needle size may change.

Gauge- 5.5 stitches = 1” or 22 sts. = a 4 in square in Stockinette Stitch using a #5 needle

Measurements/Sizes
S/M and M/L Length = 8.5 (9.5) “, head circumference = 19”(22.5) You can easily knit the hat longer if you prefer. The stitch repeat is 18 stitches so there is no “in between” sizing available. That being said, if you fall in between the two sizes offered, you can knit the smaller size on bigger needles and get a bigger hat.
