This is a classical stranded knit hat with a two-coloured corrugated ribbing. The pattern beginning with a double ribbing and continuing with a stranded pattern resembling an eruption we had 2021 in Fagradalsfjall.

We had this tourist friendly volcano eruption at Reykjanespensula, it was very nice to take a hike up there, sit down and admire the forces of the nature. The pattern itself is inspired by a photo I took up there.
