Knit in the round. The size of the circular needle dictates the size of the sweater. Measurements for size are as follows:

• A larger circular needle will make a larger cat sweater; smaller will make a smaller sweater. Divide number of stitches in pattern 80 at the neck and 96 by the belly} by stitches per inch to find the size sweater the needle will make. Measure your cat’s girth at its neck and belly to see how many inches you will need. For your cat’s comfort, it will be best to have it loose rather than too tight.
