Die Idee zu dieser Tam hatte ich während meines letzten Bretagneurlaubs in Callac, einem kleinen Städtchen im südlichsten Zipfel, des bretonischen Departements Côte d’Armor. Ar Kallak ist bretonisch und bedeutet „in/aus Callac“, was dieser Tam ihren Namen gab. Während es draußen regnete, saß ich im Wintergarten unseres Ferienhauses und strickte mehrere Varianten meines Musterentwurfs.

Die Tam ist teilweise mit selbstgesponnenem Garn, welches so nicht im Handel zu gekommen ist, gestrickt . Deshalb gebe ich hier eine alternative Hintergrundfarbe an (Spindrift Nr. 180 Mist). Die anderen Garne entsprechen den von mir verwendeten.
Du brauchst je ein Knäuel Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift in den Farben 180 Mist, 273 Foxglove, 323 Cardinal und 1260 Raspberry.
Du kannst natürlich auch Garne eines anderen Herstellers oder selbst gesponnene Garne verwenden. Dann achte darauf, dass die Garne die gleiche Stärke (16 WpI bzw. 105m/25 g) wie Spindrift haben.

I had the idea for this Tam during my last Bretagne holiday/vacation in Callac, a small town in the southernmost corner of the Breton department Côte d’Armor. Ar Kallak is Breton and means „in/out of Callac“;, which gave this Tam her name. While it was raining outside, I sat in the winter garden of our holiday home and knitted several variations of my design.

completely different due to the variations of the yarns and colours
Since I knitted the tams partly with self spun yarn, which is not available on the market, I give here an alternative background color (Spindrift No. 180 Mist). The other yarns correspond to those used by me.
You need one ball of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift in the colours 180 Mist, 273 Foxglove, 323 Cardinal and 1260 Raspberry.
Of course you can also use yarns from other manufacturers or spun yarns from your own production. Then make sure that the yarns have the same strength (16 WpI or 105m/25g) as spindle drift.
