Named after the small farm that provided the beautiful soft wool, the Fair Winds shawl is designed to wrap you up in love and comfort from the first stitch all the way through to the wearing of your finished piece. The construction enhances the different personalities of the beautiful rustic wool, with a solid textured top triangle and a panel of smooth lacy leaves.

It’s a satisfyingly simple pattern, and a great introduction to lace. There are only two charts (with written instructions also included). The garter edging is finished up with an Icelandic bind-off that leaves a sturdy edge. It’s perfect for every day, or for special occasions.
