Based on a traditional granny square pattern, our blanket is made in bright shades reminiscent of colours of the fairgrounds I visited as a child. The square is worked on a 4mm hook, to give the blanket some drape and extra softness. The border is worked on a 4.5mm it’s simple colourful design can be easily adapted to add rounds to widen the blanket. We used 50gram balls of Scheepjes stonewashed the mini ones are just used in our photos, so grab your hook and yarn and let’s get started…
