These fairisle fox mitts / fingerless gloves are worked in the round from cuff to palm and feature a stranded design of foxes on the backs of the hands and little footprints on the palm. The black outline for the fox and the pawprints are worked in duplicate stitch after the mitts have been knitted. You will need one ball of 50g yarn for each colour used and there will be plenty left over for other projects, so they are affordable to knit and make perfect gifts.

Each mitt measures approximately 17cm (6 ¾ inches) from cuff to palm edge.
