The Fairlight Shawl is a generously sized triangular shawl featuring soft Fern and cozy Gossamer yarns in a simple slipped stitch pattern.

Barker Wool:
2 skeins of Doe on Fern
1 skein of Serenade on Gossamer.

Any lace weight yarn may be substituted for the Gossamer for a similar effect. The final outcome will still have a translucent polka dot pattern but without the halo of Gossamer. A fingering weight yarn may also be used as the accent color, but the translucence will be lost.

Finished Measurements 69” wide x 26” deep at center point.
Needles US 5 (3.75mm) on a 24-32” cable.
Gauge 28 STS x 40 Rows = 4” x 4” in pattern.
Adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
