I dearly love the slow spring days, spent braiding flower crowns with my little ones.
In our northern woodlands it’s dandelions, wood violets, and white clover blooms that pepper the shady landscape.
The Fairy Crown Mitts are little flower, (or “Fairy” if you ask my children), crowns that you can carry all year.

All the greenery in the design is knit as you work the mitten in an Estonian technique called Roosimine, and as a lateral braid, with only the little French knot flowers worked in embroidery after finishing.

Sizes range from kids S/M all the way through adult large.
