You require two colors of yarn, for example black and white.

Technique: Overlay mosaic crochet and Interlocking filet crochet. Pattern is worked in the round to give two
sides of the pillowcase at once.
Yarn weight: Sport. Ball weight: 50 g, yarn length:130 m (142.17 yds).
Gauge: 10 stitches in 5cm (2”) by 5 rows in 5cm (2”) in dc stitch pattern.
Using a different gauge won’t affect the design, but it will change the finish size and the amount of yarn
needed.
Hook 3.25 – 3.5 mm. Hook size needed to match the gauge.

For one pillowcase Yardage approx. 700 meters for black yarn and 650 m for white yarn, which is a
total approx. 1350 meters of yarn (765 yards for black and 710 yards for white, a total of 1475 yards of
yarn)
