• DESCRIPTION

The hat is easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.

Using knit and purl stitches, you will create ribbing, knit in the round, and decrease and shape.

This hat will be super cozy to wear in the cold weather.

Yarn

1 x skein of any medium (04) or bulky (05) yarn.

I used Alize Classic Lanagold in the color 56.

Needles

4mm (US 6) 16″ circular knitting needles

6mm (US 10) 16″ circular knitting needles

Please note – you may have to change your needles for the decreases of the hat if working on the circulars becomes too tight.

This would mean using a set of size 6mm (US 10) double-pointed needles (DPNs).

If you do not have those, you could use a 60cm/24″ cable and use the magic loop technique.

• SKILLS

Level – Easy

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, increasing, decreasing and working in the round.
