Fall always gives a “confetti” of colors and textures in nature, and this shawl is a celebration of that!

This shawl is inspired by a warm patchwork quilt, with the pieces being inspired by all the things I love about Autumn in the woods!

You will knit hiking trails, falling leaves, glowing candles and even the texture of tree bark featured in this modular-knit piece! If you want to switch any of the sections for simpler stitch patters, go for it!! The whole thing knit in garter stitch would look AMAZING with all of the directions of the sections going here, there and everywhere!

Just have fun with the colors and construction, and in the end you will have a one-of-a-kind piece ready to go anywhere with you!

Yarn: 1 Skein Shimmy in Fall Confetti Variegated

Because some of the techniques used in the pattern and the need for the knitter to be able to “read” their knitting to some extent, I would consider this pattern to be in the “Intermediate” skill-range
