The Fall Into Spring Poncho is one of the design patterns in a working shawl/poncho series. The colorway, as pictured, lends to a lighter, Spring-like color palette, with the poncho providing the warmth you are looking for in both the Spring and Fall. Or knit it in a solid color – which turns out just as elegant – and wear it during any season.

The poncho is knit flat and seamed together after blocking, using any seam you prefer – I used the mattress stitch. Using U.S. size 10 knitting needles, it’s a quicker knit allowing you to have it off your needles, and over your shoulders in no time.

It was written for any knitter who can work simple lace stitches (yarn over, knitting and purling two together, and PSSO) to be successful. Additionally, the last page includes a “quick pattern”/recipe version for more experienced knitters. So grab your pattern, your needles, your choice of yarn, and your favorite beverage, and enjoy your knitting journey!

Find its sister pattern - Spring Into Fall. Also, a third shawl/poncho pattern in this series is set to be released soon.
