Fall Kisses Baby Blanket
2018 Sunshine Charlotte CAL

Hook: K-10.5 (6.5 mm)
Yarn: worsted (#4) weight
Size: 36” x 36”

With late fall comes the cooler weather, and it’s important to keep that baby warm. This beautiful baby blanket has layers of warmth in different colors and textures. The main layer is ribbed with front and back post stitches. The other two layers use a combination of alternating stitches and the bold extended half double crochet (photo tutorial included) to offset the ribbing, and each layer is set off with BLO.

This blanket really pops in neutrals, but add a splash of color or mix three bright hues for a baby shower gift or toddler blanket that sticks out from the bunch!

The Fall Kisses Baby Blanket is the October installment of the 2018 Sunshine Charlotte Crochet ALong, which features a different baby blanket pattern each month. This year’s CAL projects are meant to be donated to crochet charities. I’m featuring a different charity each month on my blog, but you can also donate to the charity of your choice. I design and donate these baby blankets in memory of my daughter Charlotte, who died of brain cancer in July 2015.
